Free parking
is provided by the firm in the three City-owned parking decks, one of which (the Chapel Hill Street deck) is located directly across from our office. There is one privately-owned parking deck in downtown Durham across from Suntrust Bank (formerly CCB) for which we do NOT provide free parking.
FROM SOUTH SQUARE AREA
Take Chapel Hill Boulevard (Business 15-501) towards Durham to terminus at University Drive. Turn left onto University Drive and follow
it and Business 15-501 signs through Forest Hills and past Forest Hills Shopping Center. Continue straight at Duke Street turnoff, and at the second traffic light beyond the shopping center, turn left onto
Roxboro Road and follow it and Business 15-501 signs into town. Go under railroad overpass to second traffic light. Bear left where sign says “Downtown Loop” and go to first traffic
light. This is Mangum Street. Turn left onto Mangum Street and our office building will be at the first corner.
Another alternative is to take the US 15-501 Bypass to the Durham Freeway (NC 147) South Exit, then follow and exit the Freeway as directed
in the section below under “From West Durham.”
FROM RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, RDU AIRPORT AND/OR RALEIGH
From Interstate 40 West, take the exit for the Durham Freeway (NC Highway 147) North (NOTE: The Freeway can also be accessed from Cornwallis
Road, T.W. Alexander Drive and Highway 54) until you reach Freeway Exit 12-B, marked “Downtown Durham - Business 15-501.” At end of exit, turn right onto Roxboro Road and follow it and Business
15-501 signs into town. Go under railroad overpass to second traffic light. Bear left where sign says “Downtown Loop” and go to first traffic light. This is Mangum Street. Turn left
onto Mangum Street and our office building will be at the first corner.
FROM NORTH DURHAM AND/OR HILLSBOROUGH AREA
Take the nearest North-South thoroughfare connecting your part of North Durham with Interstate 85 (such as Roxboro Road, Duke Street, Guess
Road, Hillandale Road or Cole Mill Road). Follow Interstate 85 North (East) to Exit 177. marked “Downtown Durham.” At the end of Exit 177, turn right onto Roxboro Road. If you are coming
down Interstate 85 from the north (heading South and West), you will follow Interstate 85 to the Exit 177. After exiting on Exit 177, go straight to second traffic light (get in left lanes as soon as possible),
then turn left on Roxboro Road. From either direction, after turning onto Roxboro Road, it will “dogleg” to the right and become Mangum Street (one-way). Follow Mangum Street all the way into
Downtown Durham. Our office building will be at the first corner after you cross the four-lane Downtown Loop (Morgan Street).
An alternative route if coming from Hillsborough is to take the Durham Freeway (NC Highway 147) off Interstate 85, then follow the
directions under “ From West Durham” (below) for exiting the Freeway.
FROM WEST DURHAM/DUKE TRINITY PARK AREA
Take either Main Street, Duke University Road (which turns into Chapel Hill Street near town), or the Durham Freeway (NC Highway 147) east
into town. The Main Street and Chapel Hill Street approaches will pass the West Village complex (former old L&M Tobacco Company), railroad tracks (Chapel Hill Street passes under a railroad overpass), and then
merge at “Five Points,” where SouthBank is located. If the Durham Freeway approach is chosen, take Exit 12 (Chapel Hill Street), and turn left onto Chapel Hill Street until Five Points is
reached. From Five Points, continue east on Chapel Hill Street (which is now two-way traffic). Be aware the the traffic configuration at Five Points has substantially changed, due to the fact that both
Main Street and Chapel Hill Street (which intersect at Five Points) are now two-way streets. The Reinhardt Building is located four full blocks from Five Points. The best parking for our office building is
in the City parking deck on the right (south) side of Chapel Hill Street, right before you get to our building. There is also some on-street parking on Mangum Street and Morgan Street if you loop past our
building.
